Sunday Open House

Community Lounge is for our friends from the mountain communities and here in Pisaq. This is the only place of its kind here, offering a comfortable space where anyone can put down their bags, rest, and have a cup of tea and a snack.

Several hundred friends visit us from their high altitude mountain communities every week, enjoying fresh fruit salads, bread and hot mint tea. It is the only fruit many of them eat every week.

We are honored to provide a consistent, friendly, clean, kind environment for our local friends to enjoy 6 days per week.

2021 Update: Community Lounge/Sunday Open House has been put on hold due to Covid restrictions, though we still have visitors and distribute fruit, granola bars widely, buy lunch for friends from the communities, and if needed various other food items as well. We also have a clean bathroom and always water or tea to drink, along with a comfortable couch to rest on.
